16th International Symposium on School Life and School History Museums & Collections

The theme of the Symposium is ‘Learning Through History’. The program
will comprise keynote speakers and forums designed for history teachers,
university lecturers and museum directors. It will take the form of
short presentations followed by time for discussion. In addition, you
will participate in practical activities around the museum such as the
gold pour, panning for real gold and underground mine tours. Excursions
around Ballarat will also be included in the registration fee. The
