Deutscher Lehrertag (German Teacher's Day) 2018, spring conference

The Verband Bildungsmedien e. V. has worked together with the Verband Bildung und Erziehung to again organise the German Teachers‘ Day (Deutschen Lehrertag), which will take place on 15 May 2018 as part of the Leipzig Book Fair.

The theme of the event will be ‘Time for change: Dare to be more optimistic’. The German Teachers’ Day, which will take place in the Leipzig Congress Centre, will be opened at 10 am on 15 March 2018 with an opening address by a representative of the Conference of German Cultural Ministers.
A podium discussion and around 34 other events will take place in connection with the event, dedicated to the above theme.  This year there will be many new events aimed particularly at young teachers. An accompanying trade fair will also take place.

There will be one all-inclusive price for the Teachers‘ Day which will include the programme of events, catering and entrance to the Book Fair
