EVA 2011 Berlin - Elektronische Medien und Kunst Kultur Historie / Electronic Media and Visual Arts

The EVA series of conferences in Berlin, Florence, London and Moscow is the European forum for the user, supplier and developer of electronic information and communication technologies in the wide area of cultural heritage applications. Current telecommunication initiatives, ambitious digitization projects and new technical opportunities for museums, libraries and archives are presented with regard to the cultural contexts. The 18th consecutive EVA-Conference in Berlin picks up on relevant topics and offers a discussion panel. It brings together the memory institutions with researchers of the information and communication technologies, IT- specialists and the public administration sector. Results of research and development will be presented with a strong reference to their usage. Conference, workshop and exhibition are providing opportunities for networking and international co-operation.
