From the Iron Curtain to the Schengen Area: bordering communist and postcommunist Europe

This is an international conference to mark the 50th anniversary of the construction of the Berlin Wall organised by: Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for European History and Public Spheres (LBIEHP); Institute for Human Sciences (IWM); Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), Historical Commission, Vienna. Registration is necessary for all events held at the IWM. Please register by 27 September.
