Kazakh publisher ordered to change textbook maps of the Ukraine

The Kazakh publishing house „Mektep“ published a textbook describing the Crimean peninsula as a part of Russia and stated that the annexation was made by a Russian referendum. The publisher was ordered to correct this incomplete declaration by the national Ministry of Education which received a note of protest by the Ukrainian embassy. Just few countries accepted this annexation; many blame Russia for this illegitimate takeover. Mektep changed the passages and maps in their 10-11 grade geography textbooks after this protest.
