Open Access curriculum by the UNESCO

The UNESCO introduced an Open Access (OA) curriculum containing a set of nine modules which is available and free to use for researchers and library schools. The organisation offers these modules as an approach to the OA theme. In the near future the program is intended to be an e-learning tool enabling the users to self-asses their knowledge on OA. Furthermore the curriculum is planned to get translated into several languages. Beyond that the UNESCO has recently launched its new Transparency Portal, presenting the progress in the started and promoted projects worldwide.
