Story-based Russian learning textbook

The Russian author Ignaty Dyakov living in London published his third Russian language textbook with an unusual but yet promising approach. He is introducing several characters with different cultural backgrounds and lets them solve detective stories in Russia, Europe and Guadeloupe. Another influence on the textbook was the current life context in Russia. 2014 and 2015 were no easy years for the Russians, no matter their political views. Dyakov processed this situation of complexity and ambiguousness and reflected it in his book. If you are looking for a Russian language textbook for A1-B1-levels “The Story Canonisation: for learners of the Russian language (for those who are still alive)” could be a good addition to your Russian classes.
