Esports in Norwegian school

The Norwegian Government is about to introduce esports to the countries schools.  By adding an elective subject to the core curriculum the “Garnes Vidaregaande Skule” will be one of the first high schools to teach subject material like game-mechanics, teamwork, communication or motivation with computer-games. There is a shortlist of games which includes League of Legends, Dota 2 and Counter-Strike; but final decisions weren’t made yet. A first step on the way to the integration of the games was to equip the school with high-end hardware to assure the fluid running of the games.
