Loan of 95$ million for Vietnamese education reform

The World Bank loans Vietnam 95$ million which is about to introduce a broad education reform. The money will be used to offer training programs, distance learning systems and a support network that will reach nearly 80 percent of the teachers. There is a select number of Universities that will be financed to lead the new professional development system.

Achim Fock, director of the World Bank in Vietnam, describes the reinforcement of the countries’ education system as a big step to provide the population with skills and competencies that are needed to strengthen the economy.
