Shanghai sharing its educational competence with eleven cities

Eleven Chinese cities and prefectures from seven provinces will profit from a cooperation agreement with Shanghai. The contract is about the educational level and the teachers’ development.

Shanghai has been asked by the Ministry of Education to share the experience of its 16 districts, which have won many national awards for the successful teaching programs.

In the next three years the regions will exchange knowledge in form of visits and textbooks as well as training and professional consultation. Furthermore, the educational concepts of Shanghai’s schools will be taught to the educators of the 220 pre-university schools from the provincial cities.
