BERA Conference 2016

This year the Conference will go digital. There will be an app to download the programme and abstracts directly onto your smartphones. This can also be viewed on your desktop computers as well. If you still prefer the printed programme onsite, you will need to select this during the registration process.

This year we aaccepted more ‘innovation sessions’. These sessions give you the opportunity for doing things differently, in particular sessions that create more opportunity for audience participation – one of the main reasons delegates attend. This was first debuted at last year’s conference in Belfast, which was a great success, including one session taking place in the Botanical Gardens, and site visits to several local Belfast schools.

From stylish shopping, fine dining and contemporary arts, Leeds is abundant with things to do. The compact city centre is easy to explore, and all locations for the Conference is within walking distance of the mainline train station. There will be fantastic attractions and offers for delegates. The best bit is, most of the attractions are free, so you can enjoy a day full of memorable and enriching experiences without it costing a fortune.
