CGE Lisbon Symposium 2017

The main theme of the symposium — Integrating Knowledge and Understanding in Geography Education — (October 26-28, 2017) will be an opportunity to reflect upon the challenges that geography education faces in many parts of the world. Among other topics, the symposium intends to discuss the role of geography in the curriculum, the relations between geography and the social and the natural sciences, the concepts that should frame school geography, or the meaning of geographical powerful knowledge.
